Welcome to El Pequeño Artista!

A Bilingual Arts Center for Children!

Established in 2006, El pequeno artista is the first children's bilingual arts center of its kind in New York. Our workshops are designed for children between 5 months and 8 years of age. Our first-rate teachers are native Spanish speakers with fluency in English and will ensure that your child has the best educational, fun time at our center.

Classes will be complemented by an array of native Latin American toys, instruments & art for sale.

You Don't Have to Speak Spanish to Attend Classes at El Pequeño Artista!

English-speaking families have the opportunity to be exposed to the Spanish language as they do cool artistic activities in an immersion environment. Spanish speaking parents can keep alive their native traditions & language for their children with our classes.

What can we cook up for your child?

Testimonials:

A Wonderful Birthday Experience!

When planning a joint birthday for our 5 year old and her friend, we decided to have a baking birthday party at El Pequeno Artista. We had a blast. The teachers were wonderful and helped our 11 tiny chefs make perfect cupcakes and chocolate souffle! The kids had the perfect mix of running around and baking/activity time. It was a drop off party, but the sunny space had room for some parents to "hang-out" as well. A recipe and apron to take home made the party memorable. Thank you El Pequeno Artista!

An Enjoyable Refreshing Place

My daughter and I take the cooking class at El Pequeno Artista and it is the most fun activity for Saturday morning. We come to this freshly designed welcoming space and for an hour an a half have hands on activities. We cook, we prepare very nice and easy meals from all over the world and after the preparations, we have a nice meal. the parents enjoy the activity as much as the kids and we get recipes of the meal that we prepared. Another unique theme is that the place is bilingual. The teaching is in Spanish and English. My daughter and I learned many words in Spanish!

Excellent Spanish Classes

I highly recommend El Pequeno Artista for families with bilingual kids or those who want their children to learn Spanish. The director is extremely professional and friendly, the teacher is creative and committed to the children's language development. We've looked far and wide for Spanish classes for our kids and these are the best by far.
